Your camera has focus range (from lens) on macro close-up mode: 5cm (2 in.) to infinity (∞).The hyperfocal distance is the closest distance at which a lens can be focused while keeping objects at infinity acceptably sharp; that is, the focus distance with the maximum depth of field. When the lens is focused at this distance, all objects at distances from half of the hyperfocal distance out to infinity will be acceptably sharp.That means that you can place your lens 5cm away from the water drop & still have a clear image(so the water drop is closer & more visible).

Nice texture & lighting...but the focus is wrong.You should try manual focus (auto focus sometimes gets "crazy" with strong light!

I feel you author.20...30... shots...?If you have the idea you'll try as many time as it gets to have the desireable result.

If i had an object such beautyful as this one,here is how i was shot this photo.First a solid background is a must (a piece of paper,black or white)because the colour of the object is blue & i need a colour that will make blue "pop up".A flash light to light the object (form above,under,from back,left or right is up to you) with a creative way (flash is not creative IMHO).That way the object (that is transparent with air bubbles) would look like is floating over the air (not placed on a bed).Thats just me author & i wish you good luck!

Great thinking but not so good execution(IMHO always)You should use a solid colour as a background(so the shape of the flowers is clearly visable) & a more creative light (flash is hard in the center of the photo & there are some "hot spots" on the tomatos).This shot has potentials if you work out background & light...The angle is ok but the table & all those stuff on it are distracting the eye!Just my opinion author.

The uper right corner of the frame is not adding to the photo.You could try to re-shot the photo with out the brown triangle (IMHO) allways!!!

An opinion author.Since the main subject of this photo are the stairs you should try a diferend angle to emphaze the stairs (a diagonial maybe)!It's a beautyful photo anyway!

There is still shadow inside the first fruit.You should have one more light source (from the left side) to eliminate the shadow inside the fruit (IMHO) allways.Allso there are some hot spots(on the red & green) fruits.Very good shot & a dificult subject (the shape of the subject) tho...Very good try & result.Good luck!

Then i wish you buy your self i better camera cause this is a beautyful photo & i know that with out the right camera things are very hard!

There is a tonal diference detween the tissue paper & the background.In this case i intentionaly overexpose the photo to get same colour (object & background).If you try it several times you'll find the "fine line" where object & background are the same!Good luck my friend!
