I think it's a matter of opinion because even though the center is in focus, and the front is out, it seems to give it a bit more dimention.

Good subject but you should of used a different angle and got closer. It would my been a better shot if you took it from the right side and had the tree behind the house.

There's more bushes that building and yes it doesn't look too abandoned. Perhaps crop it and center the building.
