I dont know what to comment about this photo, except for I agree that there is a tiny bit of noise going on (but it was probably dark, and a high iso was needed - I understand the circumstances). But other than that PERFECTION. Lovely timing, great composition, lighting GREAT! Well Done!

The textures and contrasts are VERY interesting here. This photo has deep effect and also it is quite mysterious to look at. It makes you think: "What is this?". You look at the darks and lights and look for detail. It is definitely very interesting and attention grabbing. Good Luck in the contest!

I think that vampurashu misunderstood the description. The picture is ethical, because the dog is still alive on this photo. I am very sorry for your loss author and the picture definitely fits the theme.

This entry is really good. The perspective makes it look like it is very big. The lighting also helps to create this effect. One thing I would have improved though is are the small plants and weeds, coming through in between the stones. I would have ripped them out, and just took the photo on the stones. Apart from that one suggestion, the photo is really great! Well Done!

That is a silly hat. It looks cool, and the photo is nice, however one thing I would point out is that the shadows on her face are a little harsh.
