It's clearly a storm cloud and a menacing one. I can well believe what else came with it. Sometimes people are too quick to judge considering they weren't even there. My brother lived in Kansas for over a year and told us all about it. Great shot and well done author.

I beg to differ. There is obviously a fence in this shot as the horses are hanging their heads over it. The contest guidelines state "animals are fine, especially with rural shots" so I can't see a problem with this entry. Lovely horses and a nice shot author.

I love wolves but we don't have any in New Zealand so I was excited to see some when we visited Alaska. Handsome wolf, lovely composition, great shot.

I think there may possibly be some interaction. Generally you wouldn't do the hand thing behind a stranger. It's more what friends do in photos.

I don't think we need to get too hung up on the main focus, In this shot the sand provides the entire b/g and takes up the whole frame. The weed and shells just add interest. To me it's well on theme.
