This shot presents some great contrasts as well, the sturdiness of the thorny branch vs the fragility of the bubble so precariously nestled against the thorn... the bubble's smoothness vs the thorn branch's rough texture.vs the silkiness of the flower petals... nice

is it a rule violation to use photoshop to move the dolphin to the left of the picture? (checking for future reference)

I feel the sadness.. I can picture him questioning fate for why he is sitting there alone without the woman he married sooo many years ago and lost not long ago... maybe crop out that lil bit of flowers on the left, it keeps pulling my eye away from the old man... tad distracting

I like the lattice (assuming that's what it is) in front of the bright green grass, but found the flower distracting lol .. the grass is horizontal, with the lattice vertical and the flower at a tilted angle... hard for my poor eyes to pick something to focus on

Front half of grasshopper is in sharp focus, back half soft blur... good dof shot.

Might I suggest that you crop out the car part? The guard rail..not so bad.. I would crop it to the bottom of the gaurd rail at least.

For a reflection in sideview mirror shot, I say BRAVO, very clear and in focus and no hint that its coming from a mirror
