sorry to say, but bagpipes are not unique to your country, nor did they originate there. Bagpipes are Gaelic in origin.......the Scottish and Irish lay claim to them.....

Good shot but must agree with Ade.
i thought it would be ok to represent something from the country my ancestors came from....i've watched my uncle perform his bagpipes in the St. Patty's day parade every year for i don't know how long....i happen to consider my roots my culture.
The rules did say the country you were born or living in, so i guess where your ancesters come from would be o.k. Just wish everybody would indicate the country the image refers to.
if we all did that, it would make this contest far too easy............the contest guidelines do say 'the country you were born or living in'........surely we have to abide by these guidelines!
