Actually, you are correct...Canon 50D; this was taken with a Tamron 500mm lens.

Thanks for all the comments...as far as sharpening and saturation...sharpen and saturation were done in camera, at settings allowed by a Canon 50D. The sharpen was a bit enhanced in post using CS4 at 50% 5 pixel radius 1 level; saturation and hue were not enhanced. This was the color and hue that resulted. Thanks again
Sharpening: I found 100% - 0.8 px - 0 a 'maximum' setting for pictures of about 1280 x 900, a tad wider (1.2 px) for 3000 x 2000 pics (w/out any pre sharpening in camera)
