Taking moon shots is one of my favorite things to do. I like to catch it on various nights. Sometimes I am without my tripod, such as the night I took this one... but eventually I got it. I took it with the 24 optical and 4x digital zoom that my camera offers... just a point and shoot camera.

I bought this camera because of its ability to take moon shots.

Yup, point and shoot, no telescope. It is a Nikon Coolpix P-90. Its a super zoom which allows for stuff like this
