I read with interest the discussion about how one needs expensive/special equipment to take the moon but I discovered on a recent trip that a mid range point and shoot camera can do the job. The only thing wrong with this pic is that I had to do it hand held as I forgot the tripod on my trip to the water tank. Can't wait to see what I accomplish when I get the tripod out.
