In 1981 I went to Poland and to Stutthof concentration camp to take pictures for a publisher. The country was in a state of war, just before Solidarity took over, and I got 12 hours visa to do this job and be out of the country again. This camp was completely EMPTY, I was the only visitor there with my polish guide. After the visit I must say I have never felt so emotionally EMPTY in my whole life. The picture here is what I call "The Gate of no Return"
ouch
That must have been incredibly eerie... and sad
Oh that's sad ... very empty.
It sure was creepy, you see it on films and books, but to be there is something else
nice I am glad it's empty. The horrible things that occured there is mind numbing.
the image is good, but with the commentry, STUNNING..
the souls of the people remains in there
empty.sad..very nice photo
Nice shot.
Emotional story. The picture and comment say it all.
