From tomorrow on the 8 photography contests will be held on pxleyes.com
Pxleyes has a much richer set of features and modding options. To give a few examples:

- You can open photo albums, with unlimited webspace
- An art and stock photography section
- Easier votes management
- The possibility to write photography tutorials and quicktips and earn from them
- Completely different vote system with a votepower ceiling of 5000
- A more extended profile
...

How will this affect you?
The contest setup will be almost exactly the same, just on a different url. All your stats will be transferred to pxleyes and you will be able to login with the same username and password. If you already have an account there, your activity and reputation points will be added to your points there. Your talent points will be shown on pxleyes as "photography talent points". If you don't have an account yet, an account will be automatically created for you, with all your pxlshots stats imported. Most stats will be transferred tomorrow, just after the new contests start. Comments, votes and portfolio's will be transferred on monday, after the current photography contests end.

I'm sorry if this will cause you any inconvenience again, especially after the big server crash a few months ago! But in the long run, this will be the best solution... Everything will be centralized in one place and besides the photography contests you will have the option to participate in image manipulation contests (2D and 3D) and drawing contests and have your photo albums and tutorials. All in 1 place.
I will try to make this transition as smooth as possible. More info tomorrow!

Will the PXLshots URL still be there and redirect you or will you just have to go to PXLeyes.com
(Like the old Photoshoptalent URL...

I would hope that we will be able to use some of these fantastic shots for contests.

It's almost ready, new contests should be up tomorrow if all goes according to plan
Accounts have already been transferred. Go to "my settings" to control what entries you want to see and what you want to vote on. If you're not interested in other types of contests, simply check photography only.

Why do we have to lose all of our votemed and vote power?

i have just logged into plxeyes n i still have all my vote power nothing has changed for me, everything the same.

Smoke, that's good news; All of my stats didn't make it yet, but I am sure things will fall into place as the transfers occur........... I can only imagine what an undertaking it is to move hundreds of accounts from one place to another.
