Oh for goodness' sake! There's been about 20 posts over a week pertaining to whether or not an individual is liked or not. Surely there are more substantive issues which could be discussed on the forum. If new people come and see these, they may wonder if they want to be part of this site or not.

If you'll (all) remember, this started with a relatively important issue - was a winning entry, and entries in general, subjected to too much post-production manipulation? It seemed (at least in my opinion) that it was. But this important issue of the standards of this site has fallen by the wayside because we want to "kill the messinger."

While I have met, and hope to continue to meet, many cool people on this site, we are not obligated to love everyone. If someone (anyone) annoys you - either ignore them (and probably miss some legitimate feedback in the process), or choose the option of not getting feedback (and probably miss some legitimate feedback in the process). A main problem with internet communication is that it eliminates approximately 90% of nonverbal communication. However, as much as 70% of the understanding of a message comes nonverbally. This tends to push our interpretations of messages to the extremes. We either love or hate people - people who we have never met in the flesh, people we have never interacted with in any other context, people we claim to know - but really don't.

Take the feedback - good and bad. If you find it valuable use it to learn. If you don't, let it be "like water off a duck's back." But - what about the issue of too much post-production?

Thank you Kyricom this has been giving me such a headache. Post production issues as well as other issues on the bug thread need to be addressed a little patience is required. We live in a world where instant gratification is the norm and have lost our grasp that humans are still behind it all and it takes time. There is only one individual that can properly address the issues on this and and sister site and that is the site administrator who is trying to work out the kinks.

Maybe it's time you gave your lecture length comments when they are asked for!!!

One more lecture, just for Ade: whoever doesn't disable the 'comment' box on entry time, asks for comments. That's how things are usually done on sites like this. If you haven't come across that so called 'opt-out' principle (contestants can opt out of getting comments on their entry), you learned a new trick by now. Cheers.

Comments, yes.............lectures.......No!...that's what the turorials are for.

Ade … I comment in a way I think is appropriate. If you don't like it -- you're welcome, I won't stop being who I am. As much as I don't force you to become somebody else. If you can stop your moralistic defense of other people, we can both save a lot of time clarifying your improper accusations…

there's a lot of communications from someone who said they were leaving. There is a difference between rudeness and comments. Being tactless is not a trait anyone likes. But since the person who is tactless enjoys being rude and ignorant we will just let him be an A#$%^&%@. He/she is proud of that. What a pitty!!!

Okay Nofue, you win, I am bored of this now!

As it happens, if you hadn't gathered already, I don't really like your style of commenting, so I would appreciate it if you didn't place any more on my work. How you decide which is my work is your problem, just don't place any more comments on it.

As has been said already, for someone who is leaving the site, you still have a lot to say.

Once more the illiterates sound up. Quoting myself from msg #1:

This is far from being a level playing field, and I'm not going to participate any more contests as long as this conditions exist.

I never said 'leaving the site', but hopefully you can get that from the quote above. I think it was bluefly who misread first, and her (per usual) polite comment made it a 'nofue's leaving' or such. Better check sources for yourself instead of trusting others too much -- this makes you look like an illiterate easily…

Regarding your request to stop commenting on your stuff: guess you should ask Mr. Monty to allow for a filter so you can exclude all the people you don't want to comment on your pictures in advance.

Well, and I can only second Kyricom -- the issue of this thread is the entry I'm complaining about in message #1.

I always enjoyed your tactful, respectful and polite comments, not only on me, but also on entries of others.

It's amazing how you seem to think you're a mod or such in your comments -- 'off topic and photoshopped', I got to love that. Better red flag the picture and have the people in charge take care of that…

Now what about 'Buick' and overdoing editing? Do you have an opinion about this, too?

It's plain to see that Nofue does not know what he is talking about at all. Its also plain to see that he loves to harrass people and treat people without any respect. You don't know who is and who isnt a mod. you also don't know how this site is run. That is a fact! Take your own advice and don't bother anyone with your tactless remarks. And don't bother entering any contests either. This thread was over as soon as it was started! :YMDEVIL:
