For this contest show us something that was originally unique to your homeland or the country where you now live. An icon or custom that people associate with a certain country or culture. It can be something that can be found, seen or bought elsewhere but it must have it's origins in your part of the world. It may be an object, an animal, fish or bird, a plant, a food, a mineral, even a dance or an item of clothing. No buildings or monuments allowed.

Barong Tagalog -the Philippines National Wear,an embroidered elegant garment , typically long-sleeved shirt lightweight and worn untucked over an undershirt.. It has evolved since 16th century.. It is a common wedding and formal attire for Filipino men (sorry couldn't find a model to wear this and that barong is a bit old,just found in my father's closet)..
