Photography contest - shadow conquer

Contest Goal:
Every photograph has what's called a key light, the most prominent source of light in the picture. Most often it's the sun, but of course every other source of light can become the key light. The downside of the key light are shadows. The stronger the key light gets, the stronger the shadows become. In this contest your goal is to fight the shadows of the key light. Try to have a key light which is not placed close to the camera, and use a reflector or a second source of light (the fill light) to eliminate most of the shadows.

(2 years and 274 days ago) nofue: Look at the "Swan" entry: heavy backlight, most of the neck would have been rather dark by this. Using a fill light (fill flash here) the shadows were eliminated.
