Photography contest - window shopping

Contest Goal:
Show us a photo of a shop window display. It could be a jewellery shop, bakery, chemist ( drug store), souvenir shop, department store, book store...... any window as long as it's a shop of some kind displaying it's wares.

nofue: We see lots of pics which aren't exactly shop windows. So how to deal with that 'any window' part of the contest goal? Removing those entries? Your opinion / red flag please. As long as there is a shop window visible is more important as my entry had that was removed. In fact nofue, your own entry does not comply with my guidelines as the window is not visible hence I have red-flagged it. (2 years and 290 days ago) Contest Moderator: Just because the glass can't be seen as the photographer skillfully kept the picture clean from reflections, it's still a window. If you want to see the frame of a window, specify in the rules -- but don't show up on day six of a contest to add fine print. (2 years and 290 days ago) nofue: Looking up Websters: a window is an opening in the wall ... fitted with glass ... to allow people to see out (or in, for that matter). And: 'a pane of glass filling such an opening' ... The c/g asks for a 'shop window display' (i.e. a display of good behind / in a shop window), so goods have to be behind a window (no outdoor displays f.t.m.) and no frame has to be shown either, because a window is also considered a 'pane of glass'. And your red flag is just a personal thing, as by your changing of the goal late about 80% of all entries will be voided. This is clearly not the way to deal with self specified contest goals.
