Photography contest - getting close

Contest Goal:
'You can't get close enough'... This famous quote should be your motto for this week's shootings. Zoom out or use the shortest prime lens you've got and get close. Enjoy the enhanced perspective from shooting a wide angle lens, and note how things close to the camera get emphasized.

WYSIWYG: I think there is some misunderstanding, is it about close-up or about extreme wide angle close to the subject? (2 years and 348 days ago) nofue: well, friiskiwi, there are some macro shots but I think there are also a lot of wonderful examples of getting close using regular and rather wide lenses. So most people seem to read the rules before submitting their pics

(2 years and 347 days ago) bluefly: The idea is to choose wide angle on your camera and get as close as you can to your subject. (it will make your subject distorted) If you have a dslr, choose your shortest lens like 18mm and get as close as you can in focus to your subject. Hope this helps.
