I think this is a nice shot... but by drawing the eye to the note which is in focus, I think it might make that note the subject. Good, creative thinking, though

"It's a 180° twist of the photographic brain."- nofue. It just looks like sticker is a main subject but... I think that was the whole point of the contest. In the normal way of looking, person would be sharp, and the wall with a sticker would be blurry. person is on 50% of picture.... but there is another thing... eye reads a picture from left to right... so the right side is always more pleasant for eye. so that is maybe another reason why you feel that.
