Thank you both. My job involves a lot of driving. I was working when I came across this. Sadly we don't have Squirrels in New Zealand. They're such cute wee critters. We do have plenty of Possums though!

Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone. It was a dull, grey, cold day and drizzling with rain when I took this shot. Bluefly, I imagine the owners chose this giant old tree for their letterbox as it's right at the end of their drive in an ideal position for the postie.

Thanks Jack. I couldn't really use a lower angle as I had it sitting on th jetty railing well above the water. I wanted the affect of it being on the water but without getting it wet or sinking ,lol. A friend made it a long time ago and it's purely ornamental.

Thank you Derivatix. My daily routine involves calling on kitchen makers as I work for a company that makes kitchen counter top and cabinet laminates as well as marble, slate and stone bench tops. The kitchen in the photo is made from the products I merchandise.
